InMode FaceTite
FaceTite is a minimally-invasive procedure performed under local anaesthetic in the clinic. It uses a technology called bipolar radiofrequency to reduce fat and tighten skin. A cannula (tube) is introduced under the skin, which generates controlled heat and passes radiofrequency energy up to the skin's surface, creating tightening of tissues and stimulating collagen production. Any area on the face, neck or body with excessive fat or sagging skin may be treated via this approach, and your doctor will advise if this is the ideal approach for your concerns.
For the face and neck, this rejuvenation approach differs from a facelift, as there are no large cuts requiring excision of excess skin - minimising recovery time and greatly decreasing risk of scarring. Following the procedure there is some recovery required, with most patients returning to their normal activities after 5-7 days. Some improvement will be visible following treatment, however results continue to improve with collagen production that follows for 6-12 months after the procedure. Typically an improvement is noted by the 3 month stage, at which time your review appointment will be organised and comparative photography done. FaceTite results last 5 years.
